EPs Released January to June 2024

There have been quite a few EPs released so far this year, and I decided to put a list together at the halfway point (June). I’m sure I’ve missed several, but these are the ones I have found. Please keep in mind that my focus is the lesser known indie community. If you have an EP to add to this list, feel free to drop a comment!

Note: I will be doing a separate post for the full-length albums released within the same time frame.

The Mostly Music 2023 Playlist, Pt. 3 (Updated 10/8/23)

Link to the playlist on Spotify: Check it out!

Welcome to the first list of additions for October! The past two weeks have brought more hard rock for mental health from Above Snakes, a playfully dark metalcore anthem from Not Enough Space, and more! Here are the songs that have been added since my last update:

5 Bands/Artists You Should Be Following [Week Two]

I’m kicking off this week’s list with a couple of Instagram discoveries.

1. Cody Katastrophic

A singer/songwriter as well as a guitarist. He has a few covers posted, but this is what captured my attention.

2. Monowhales

An indie band from Toronto. I stumbled across them after their guitarist Zach followed me 🙂 This is their most recent single.

3. Almost Kings

If you’ve been paying attention, you already know about my love of this Atlanta-based rap/rock band. And if you haven’t listened to them yet, what are you doing with your life?! Lol.

4. Matt Gothic (Metal Matt)

A solo artist from Bristol, UK. He recently uploaded some videos of himself playing with a full band, so you should definitely check out my favorite, “You Know That I’m Here.”
