1. HIM: “Rebel Yell” (Billy Idol cover)
2. Deathstars: “White Wedding” (Billy Idol cover)
I’m actually not that crazy about this version. I don’t think his voice works.
3. Children of Bodom: “Oops! I Did It Again” (Britney Spears cover)

I stumbled across an old mixed CD that had nothing but covers on it. Now, most of the time I always think the original is better, but there are some instances in which I have to call it a tie.
This is part one and will include 3 tracks. I’m not sure how many parts there will be. 🙂
1. Disturbed: “Sound of Silence”
Even my parents like this one.
2. The Murderdolls: “White Wedding”
My best friend and I used to watch this video on repeat.
3. Toad the Wet Sprocket: “Hey Bulldog”
This sounds a lot like the original, and it is one of my favorite songs by The Beatles.
My best friend and I used to watch this video on repeat. Lol.
Murderdolls — “White Wedding,” from the album Beyond the Valley of the Murderdolls:Â Special Edition (2002).Â
My friend Tiffany introduced me to this band with this video roughly a decade ago. I think they did justice to Billy Idol: they managed to add their style without altering the song too much. I still rock out to this on a regular basis. \m/
