Song of the Week: “Earned It”

Judge me if you must, but I love this song! The radio station we listen to at work plays it all the time, which is how I first heard it, and I guess it grew on me subconsciously or something. Lol.

Song of the Week: “Killer”

I ordered a copy of Super bob’s self-titled album and I was sent the newest release, Killer, instead. I debated whether or not to message them and exchange it for the one I’d wanted. I decided not to, since I figured I would have ended up with Killer eventually anyway.

Greatest decision I’ve ever made!!!!

Seriously, the album is just so great. I’m in love with it. Rarely does it leave my CD player now. 🙂 I suggest everyone go buy a copy.

Song of the Week: “Country Band Man”

I saw this band for the first time on Saturday and it was instantaneous love! They put on a great show. Even more importantly, they are extremely talented musicians. I could be biased because they hail from the South–ha!–but seriously, y’all should listen to this song, love it (because you will), then go stalk their YouTube channel for more! 🙂

Song of the Week: “Bounce”

Since I’m going to see them tomorrow, I decided to honor Almost Kings in this post. Although, actually, I don’t need an excuse to honor them…I love them so much that their songs are pretty much always a top pick ❤

Song of the Week: “They Say Vision”

If you don’t know this song, I’m not surprised. It was the only single from Res that ever got any notice–and even then, the attention came from VH1 and virtually no one else. Still, I thought it was a fantastic song. My mom and I used to listen to it every day before I went to school.

Song of the Week: “Tourniquet”

So after hearing that Marilyn Manson is coming to town in April, I just had to honor them in a Song of the Week post. I have been waiting 15 years to see this band; needless to say, I am practically dying from excitement!

This has always been one of my favorites from them. In fact, I’m fairly positive this was the first song I fell in love with…even before “The Beautiful People.” ❤
