The annual rock/metal festival is taking place May 19th through May 22nd at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida. I have played this song a thousand times in the last two weeks. It’s amazing to me how a song you’ve known for a long time can suddenly speak to you on an entirely different level. After a conversation about what I want out of life with a musician – and his question “What’s stopping you?” – I guess the line And your moment of truth is the day that you say “I’m not scared” just hit harder.

This post should have been last Saturday since I actually went to see Shinedown that night, but it was a hectic day and I didn’t have time.
The concert was amazing, as always. It was my third Shinedown show and they just get better every time. I want to share the opening of the show with y’all, because oh my God! This got the whole venue fucking pumped. (The video I’m linking wasn’t from Birmingham. I can’t find one taken there, and I myself only recorded three songs.)
