New Music: The Lacs

I became familiar with The Lacs when they played some shows with Atlanta natives Almost Kings. They are an interesting — and fun — mix of country and hip-hop (“hick hop”).

The Lacs have described their new single as an anthem for riding high and living low. Check out “Willie Nelson,” featuring Nate Kenyon. The new album Dirt Rock will be available on May 4th!

“About You” features emo rapper Blackbear, and is the third song Shinoda has shared from his upcoming album Post Traumatic, which is set to be released June 15th.

3. Mindless Self Indulgence: “Bring the Pain” (Method Man cover)

What I’m Listening To: Clone the Dead

This was actually sent to me in a comment on another post. Clone the Dead is a new rap metal band, similar to Hollywood Undead. “Half a Life” is currently the only track they have published on YouTube.

I liked this song and would definitely be interested in hearing more. Give it a play and see what you think!
