Album of the Week: The Lacs’ American Rebelution
My friends in Almost Kings have been promoting The Lacs, so I decided to check them out. I have to admit it…I’m hooked! American Rebelution is the duo’s latest release. Go check it out!
Weekly Focus: The Lacs, Day One
In honor of their latest record, and the fact that they’ve been playing shows with Almost Kings, my featured band this week is The Lacs.
The Lacs — “Another Shot,” from the album Country Boy’s Paradise (2010).
Let’s Talk Covers (Pt. 11)
1. Bobaflex: “Hey You” (Pink Floyd cover)
Okay, I love Pink Floyd, and Bobaflex totally does them justice. This version of “Hey You” stays true to the original while also having that Bobaflex edge. ❤
2. Marilyn Manson: “Tainted Love” (Soft Cell cover)
3. Almost Kings: “So Sophisticated” (Rick Ross cover)
