Black Label Society Announces Spring 2022 Dates (Updated 5/12!)

News (as of 5/12): Zakk Wylde has lost his voice. BLS did not play the May 9th show. Instead, Jared James Nichols and Nita Strauss performed for free. That show has now been moved to May 23rd. The May 10th show was cancelled and rescheduled for August 30th. The May 13th show in Fayetteville is now being played September 2nd, and the Tyler, Texas, show has been rescheduled for September 3rd. Keep your tickets, as they will be honored on the new dates.

Black Label Society is hitting the road in May and they’re bringing some friends. The sixteen date tour includes special guests Nita Strauss (April 30 – May 17), Black Stone Cherry (May 20, 21), and Jared James Nichols. Tickets and VIP packages are available at blacklabelsociety.vip.

Throwback Thursday: “Counting Blue Cars” by Dishwalla

This is another thing I’d love to do weekly, but I know who I am as a human being and I know I’ll forget. Lol.

So, each of my managers has a preferred type of music (s)he puts on when at work, and the main boss man is a 90’s alternative kind of guy. Almost every day he’s there Dishwalla’s “Counting Blue Cars” plays, and I have rediscovered my appreciation for it. Ergo, I had to share it for my first Throwback Thursday post.

Alter Bridge Announce New Album Title + Release Date

Despite what guitarist Mark Tremonti said in a not-so-long-ago interview, Alter Bridge’s much anticipated seventh album – entitled Pawns & Kings – will not be out in September. The official release date is October 14th.

I’m willing to wait, because I love them and I’m sure the record will be amazing, but… Can we at least get a single soon? Haha. Throw us a bone, guys!!! 😆 I guess we’ll just have to be satisfied with Mark Tremonti’s album of Sinatra covers (out May 27th, in case you didn’t know).

Here’s a new promo photo, though.
