Ra is bringing their Intercorrupted Tour to 16 cities this spring. Supporting them will be Stitched Up Heart (on select dates), September Mourning, and Above Snakes. Tickets and VIP experiences available at raband.net.
Note: Nick Villarreal, formerly of Sons of Texas, will be playing bass for Ra, filling in for PJ. Dave Perry, the one-man band known as Fear of Water, will be on drums, and Jordan Mastachione of Killakoi will be shredding on guitar.
I will write more about the show and both bands in a later post, but for now, enjoy these random pictures from a really kickass concert!
Actually, first and foremost, check out this version of “Nutshell” by Alice in Chains, performed by Magnolia Bayou. This is my favorite AIC song. (Their sets consist of mostly originals, but they throw in a couple of interesting covers.)
The Doobie Brothers are celebrating 50 years in 2022! With a lineup of Michael McDonald, Pat Simmons, Tom Johnston, and John McFee, these classic rockers will kick off the party in May with two weeks in Vegas! Then, they will be traveling the U.S. (and parts of Canada) for dates in June, July, September, and October. Tickets are available at thedoobiebrothers.com.

I like Disturbed’s version a lot, but the addition of Myles Kennedy rockets this to an entirely different level. His voice is absolutely inhuman and combining it with David Draiman’s? It just gives me chills.
This is my favorite Muse song, and watching it performed in front of such a huge crowd, all of whom are responding so enthusiastically, gives me chills. I saw Muse in 2007, opening for My Chemical Romance, but it was nothing like this.
