Album of the Week: Marilyn Manson’s Born Villain
Okay, full disclosure.
After the release of The Golden Age of Grotesque, I ventured away from Marilyn Manson. There was nothing deep about the departure. I simply found other bands I enjoyed more and MM was stuck on the back burner. However, recently, I have returned to one of my original favorites and checked out all that I missed.
Born Villain stood out to me, particularly the track “Pistol Whipped.” I’m not sure why, I just love the song and most of what I’ve heard from this record. And so I’ve chosen Born Villain as my album of the week.
