Weekly Focus: Asking Alexandria, Day One

Asking Alexandria — “A Single Moment of Sincerity,” from the album Stand Up and Scream (2009).

Album of the Week: Asking Alexandria’s self-titled

After a kick-ass concert last night that consisted of Blessthefall, Black Veil Brides, and Asking Alexandria, is it really a surprise that I would feature this album? Asking Alexandria’s self-titled record is heavily melodic from start to finish. My favorite tracks are “When the Lights Come On,” “Hopelessly Hopeful,” and “Under Denver.”
