In honor of Almost Kings’ eighth birthday, I’m just gonna post a blog of their videos. 🙂 If you don’t already know who AK is, check out the Bands You Should Know I wrote and the interview I did.
Edit: By the way, the new album, The Re-Introduction, will be available for download on iTunes January 12th and released worldwide on January 26th.
It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything about the Alabama Crimson Tide and a lot has happened in the interim.
After losing to Ole Miss for the second year in a row, the Tide has been perfect. They defeated their in-state rivals, the Auburn Tigers, to secure a trip to Atlanta, where they easily took down the Florida Gators and won their second consecutive SEC Championship game. 🙂
On New Years Eve, the Tide faces their next challenge: coming out on top against Michigan State in the Cotton Bowl so that they will have a shot at another national title.
Needless to say, I am stoked!!!!! I will be in front of a television at 7 p.m. (CST), ready for kickoff. It is sure to be a great game. Roll Tide!
In addition to all of this, runningback Derrick Henry became the second Alabama player to win the Heisman. I’m so proud of my boys!
Rock ‘n’ roll legend had been battling a series of health issues.

I’m hanging out with my best friends, eating cookies, playing video games, and listening to music. This is definitely the best way to spend Christmas Eve Eve.
London After Midnight — “The Christmas Song,” from the album Oddities (1998).
So I’m at the house with my husband-in-law and the tiny human and we decide to watch a movie called Another Me. Throughout the film, this haunting song keeps playing…Lisa Hannigan’s “You Haunt Me.” I’ve been obsessed since.
Lisa Hannigan — “You Haunt Me,” from the Another Me soundtrack (2014). This track was originally released in 2012 by Richard Hawley.
There are some really good memories attached to this song 🙂
The Weeknd — “Can’t Feel My Face,” from the album Beauty Behind the Madness (2015).
I fell in love with this song the instant I heard it. It’s beautiful in its original state, but the acoustic version…Oh, my God ❤
Cold — “No One,” from the album 13 Ways to Bleed On Stage (2000).
Yeah…I really like Selena Gomez. She’s just awesome, and I always find myself in love with her songs.
Selena Gomez — “Same Old Love,” from the album Revival (2015).
Halestorm — “It’s Not You,” from their self-titled album (2009).
There isn’t much I can say about this, other than I LOVE IT!!!!!! Bryan Bozeman, the frontman for Almost Kings, released it two days ago and I can’t get enough. Please give it a listen and spread the word! 🙂
