Of course this song was my introduction to Rammstein…
Rammstein — “Du Hast,” from the album Sehnsucht (1997).
The Iron Bowl 2016
Friends of mine who are Auburn fans talked a lot of trash last week, mostly because the Tigers’ defense has straightened up lately. But you can’t really do much with an offense that can’t score touchdowns. Needless to say, the Alabama Crimson Tide won. They will be undefeated when they meet the Florida Gators next Saturday in Atlanta for the SEC Championship game. Roll Tide!
Here is something amusing for you to watch:

Now Playing (02): Avenged Sevenfold
In case you were wondering, I’m numbering these because I’m sure some artists will appear in multiple posts, and sometimes it’s a song, sometimes it’s an album… I just want everyone to be able to easily recognize the different posts. 🙂
Today, on my way to my brother’s apartment, I put in Avenged Sevenfold’s Nightmare. The title track struck me anew, and so that is what is now playing…
Weekly Focus: HIM, Part 2 (Day Four)
Happy Thanksgiving!!!!
HIM — “It’s All Tears (Drown in This Love),” from the album Greatest Lovesongs, Vol. 666 (1997).
Let’s Talk Covers (Pt. 7)
1. Almost Kings: “Closer” (Chainsmokers cover)
I love this! Although I could be biased… 😉
2. Type O Negative: “Hit Me Baby (One More Time)” [Britney Spears cover]
3. AFI: “Just Like Heaven” (The Cure cover)
Now Playing (01): Alter Bridge
For the past week, I’ve been throwing it back. Alter Bridge’s One Day Remains has not left my CD player. I have been listening to the title track, “Find the Real,” and “Watch Your Words,” in particular.
Weekly Focus: HIM, Part 2 (Day Three)
HIM — “For You,” from the album Greatest Lovesongs, Vol. 666 (1997).
