Now Playing (02): Avenged Sevenfold
In case you were wondering, I’m numbering these because I’m sure some artists will appear in multiple posts, and sometimes it’s a song, sometimes it’s an album… I just want everyone to be able to easily recognize the different posts. 🙂
Today, on my way to my brother’s apartment, I put in Avenged Sevenfold’s Nightmare. The title track struck me anew, and so that is what is now playing…

I love this! Although I could be biased… 😉
2. Type O Negative: “Hit Me Baby (One More Time)” [Britney Spears cover]
3. AFI: “Just Like Heaven” (The Cure cover)
Now Playing (01): Alter Bridge
For the past week, I’ve been throwing it back. Alter Bridge’s One Day Remains has not left my CD player. I have been listening to the title track, “Find the Real,” and “Watch Your Words,” in particular.

Weekly Focus: HIM, Part 2 (Day One)
After I finished the first seven days, I realized I had only covered three of HIM’s albums. So they get two weeks instead of one.
HIM — “Wings of a Butterfly,” from the album Dark Light (2005).
Album of the Week: HIM’s Dark Light
Dark Light is not my favorite HIM record, but I do like “Vampire Heart,” “Wings of a Butterfly,” “Killing Loneliness,” and “The Face of God.”

Weekly Focus: HIM, Day Seven
HIM — “Join Me in Death,” from the album Razorblade Romance (1999).
