Nice list! I so agree on A7X Nightmare! That album is so insane spectacular! I remember playing it thru constantly when it released, constantly on rotation for at least 5 years! 😮🤘🏻‼️
I probably could have included City of Evil and/or the self-titled as well, because for a long time they were definitely no skip for me. Lol. But these days, I think Nightmare is the only one that remains a consistent no skip.
I’ll agree to that! City of Evil is insane great too, yet Nightmare just nudged it enough!

YESS!! Isn’t it great to have a community to remind each other of these albums and bands! My favorite AFI is their All Hallow’s EP from 1999. The horror punk I can never get enough of! Wednesday 13 and Murderdolls are horror bliss! I still can’t believe Joey Jordison is gone. That hit very hard, I remember.
So when I met the girl who has now been my best friend for over 20 years, she was obsessed with Slipknot, and Joey in particular. Which naturally led to her discovery of Murderdolls. She played them for me and I LOVED them – and Wednesday was my favorite. Fastforward to a couple years ago, my brother took me to see Wednesday doing Murderdolls and bought me VIP. I told Wednesday about me and my BFF being 15 and having our crushes on him and Joey 😆 I said Joey was hers and he was mine, and he pulled me into a hug and said “Hug me since I’m yours.” The 15 year old in me was dying 🫠
Awww!! That’s a moment to cherish! Wednesday 13 appears to have a BIG heart under that spooky aura! 💫
He also commented on my accent. Lol. We saw him in New Mexico and when I said something about being far from home and told him I was from Alabama, he was like “I knew I heard Southern in here.” 😅 He’s from NC, so he should know.
He was probably my best rock star meeting that I’ve had, just because I didn’t go completely stupid.
That’s such a fun and cherished encounter! It’s hard to not show your enthusiasm. I’ve always felt that way too, thinking I said something dorky to a famous musician! When I met DORO, I can’t remember what I even said cuz I was way too awestruck. Heck, I had a crush on her in my teen years! 😝
